Spent the 4th of July weekend at the beach with family and friends. We have the nicest beach on Long Island. I live 1 mile from it. I'm so lucky! Water was absolutely beautiful. Little cold at first but you get use to it. Waves were perfect size for me. Stayed in for a long time. We're having a heat wave so it felt good. Monday was too hot. Even at the beach. I couldn't take it anymore and had to finally leave around 1:00. I was even under the umbrella and it was too hot. The sand was so hot it went right through my sandals. It hurt so bad! Went back to my air conditioned house. Felt much better. RELIEF!
