New Hampshire

Another trip to New Hampshire to see Lulu!
Have to remember to bring my good camera next time.

Bench cushion

I have been looking for a bench cushion for the bench that is on my deck. It is such an odd size that it would have to be custom made and would end up costing was too much. So I found video on YouTube from Melanie Ham. You can search" Melanie Ham How to Make a Bench Cushion in 2 Hours". However, it took me longer than that, of course! She had the easiest directions.

I bought fabric and the high density foam cushion at Joann's. The back cushion is from the original cushion. The bottom cushion had been damaged.

Guest Room Redo

There some some amazing things you can find at an Estate Sale if you only be patient.
I found a twin bed set with headboard, footboard and all the pillows and linens for the most reasonable price. Lucky me!
Now I only need pictures on the wall and I'm done!

Modern Log Cabin Quilt

Here is the Modern Log Cabin Quilt finished! This was given as a housewarming present to the granddaughter of my boss.

Martha's Quilt

The quilt for my Martha and Mike's baby is finished. Actually, it was finished in June and I just getting around to posting. The baby is due in October. Her name is Rosa Lee.Very fun to quilt. I used the walking foot and did a different stitch for every white square. It came out great!

Cross body purse

I made this Cross body purse for my Disney trip. It has a top zipper and a bottom zip. But then I noticed that the straps are off. See how one is higher than the other? LOL!!! Next time I'll make sure they're even. I did not want to take it out as it was very thick sewing. I had to use the walking foot. I also quilted the fabric. So I was going through 6 layers, no 8 with the strap.
I found the tutorial on Youtube by Malini Chandra. She's a young girl and she did a great job demonstrating how to make it. It was exactly what I wanted. No one else had a good tutorial.
